Our
Health Guarantee includes:
Initial Health Guarantee
Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health
at the time of delivery (or when shipping, at the time of shipment).
The buyer has a 72 hour guarantee in which he/she is encouraged to have
the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian (at the buyers expense).
Should the puppy be found to have a minor pre-existing condition by a licensed
vet during the 72 hour period Zippity Doodles™ will be responsible for
the costs of medications up to the amount of $100. If the veterinarian
finds any serious or life threatening problems the buyer has the following
choices:
Return the dog to Zippity Doodles™ within
48 hours of the exam for a full refund of the original purchase price,
minus all shipping costs (does not include expenses incurred by the buyer),
OR
Return the dog to Zippity Doodles™
within 48 hours of the exam and the puppy will be exchanged for a similar
puppy as soon as one is available (all shipping expenses to be paid by
the buyer).
Genetic Health Guarantee
Zippity Doodles™ guarantees the puppy to
be free of inherited genetic defects for a period of 24 months, including:
~Hip dysplasia on or before 24 months
of age as diagnosed by an organization who specializes in diagnosing HD
~Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) on
or before 24 months of age as diagnosed by a veterinarian certified by
ACVO.
~von Willebrand’s as diagnosed by an
OFA approved DNA lab
All testing and examinations are the responsibility
of the buyer. Should the puppy be found to have an inherited genetic
defect requiring treatment the buyer shall have a choice of the following:
Zippity Doodles™ will reimburse the buyer
for Vet prescribed treatment expenses up to 50 % the original purchase
price of the puppy (excluding shipping costs)
OR
Zippity Doodles™ will provide a replacement
pup (buyer is responsible for costs associated with shipping the puppy)
We do not ask for the return of your puppy.
